I made Rosalina this year, which is a costume I really enjoy. It can be pretty uncomfortable having to stand like that all day, but I like the way it turned out. It was received well, too which is always encouraging. It was my first time working with crepeback satin, and casting my own gems. I wore it to Megacon, Jacon, AX and AWA
Jasmine was made around the same time as rosalina, in order to wear to the princess and pirates party at disney where we were harassed by entertainment for looking too good. I didn't wear this to a con. I made the earrings out of liquid plastic and tried adding stuff into the wig even though it's not exactly as nice as I would like it to be.
Washu was such a fun costume that I finished this year. It was an adventure with a difficult wig, but the rest was simple. I won first place journeyman at otakon, which was very surprising.
Early Z Bulma was a fun outfit to wear in a dragonball group with friends at otakon. Very simple, more practice dying wigs.
Crazy pants bulma! I got around to making this one (kind of), a costume I always wanted to make. It still needs some serious work to be done on it @.@
I made this bulma-luffy costume for otakon, and I didn't wear it very much lol! it was scary :3 I need to fix the top.
"creamsickle" syaoran from card captor sakura was made for the costume contest at AWA this last year. We won most accurate, which is awesome. This one was a big applique costume. The applique was gradient dyed to look cool, but it made it not stick to the fabric as well!! that sucked.. ;_; so I'll have to fix it up later. The jacket that syaoran wears still doesn't make sense. oh well!!
